We offer instruments & accessories to fulfill your musician needs. Whether it is a new reed for your young student or Guitar Strings and drumsticks for your local band, we've got you covered.

No need to drive out of the harbor to stock up, swing by the Garage to check out our retail. 

Ted Brown Music is an integral part of music education in Washington State. We are active in classrooms daily, providing help and support to music teachers and students alike. We offer free on the spot repairs at marching competitions and other music festivals throughout the school year.

The Garage hosts streaming & live performances.

Due to the current Corona Virus Pandemic we are only streaming performances for the time being.

Live Music will return once it becomes safer for our performers and Audiences.

The Garage offers a variety of community use instruments for the community to use for free in the space. Guitars, amps, Bass Guitars, an upright Bass, Cello, Keyboard, Hand Drums, Congas, Tambourines, Guiro, Rainstick, Drum Kit, Bongos, Cowbell, Woodbloack, Claves,  Cabasa, Triangle, Agogo and Egg shakers are just a few of the instruments we have on hand. 

Due to the current Corona Virus Pandemic all of our community use instruments are being stored away until it is safe for the community to use them again. Don't worry though, they are waiting for you to come in and play them when it's safe. 

The Garage offers a Grays Harbor Rocks painting station, blank and coloring pages, crayons, colored pencils & markers for budding artists to come in and create in a relaxed environment. 

Due to the current Corona Virus Pandemic all of our community use Art supplies are put away until it is safe for the community to create with them. 

The Garage also has a small collection of Music Magazines, Music theory books, Tabs, piano music, Music Business, Songwriters guides, etc for guests to peruse and take notes from while they are enjoying the space. Free community coffee, comfortable chairs and a coffee table make it possible to come learn & study with ease.

Unfortunately as many of our other community use amenities, the library is currently unavailable due to the Corona Virus and our pursuit to keep our community safe & healthy.

Built with double 5/8" drywall and Rockwool insulation for added privacy, our Practice room doors also have adjustable in-door blinds for those who want to practice without an audience.

Our practice rooms are available free to use for all students in Washington State. 

Practice room rates for all others are: 

$3 for 30 minutes

Members receive a 50% discount !

$1.50 for 30 mins

 Opportunity and Access to the Arts is at the heart of our mission.  Art Consignment is available for local artists looking to showcase their talent.

We offer no showing fee & collect a 20% commission on sales for our nonprofit to help support the Garage: Music and Arts Center. 

Approved artwork must be priced at $100 or less, be appropriate for an all ages space & amateur.

Instrument Consignment is available

All accepted instruments must be in working condition and will be accepted upon approval from the Director or Assistant Director. 

Consigned Instruments approved are also shown with no fee & we collect a 20% commission on sales  for our nonprofit to help support the Garage: Music and Arts Center. 

Consignment contracts are for 90 days.

Youth Orchestra Unbound (YOU) is a community orchestra program for students ages 8 - 18. Sponsored by Grays Harbor Arts and directed by Melanie Nicholson. YOU was created to provide opportunities for young musicians to learn a new instrument and for existing school orchestra students to have a supplemental performance opportunity. 

YOU is designed to be affordable and available to students of all skill levels wanting the chance to learn a stringed instrument or to develop their skills and play with others.

The Grays Harbor Homeschool Orchestra is also directed by Melanie Nicholson at The Garage.

Due to the current Corona Virus Pandemic all of our youth programs are suspended until further notice when it is safer for our students to congregate and perform.
