October Music Festival

Annual October Music Festival

Established in 2017, the October Music Festival is a 31 day Music Festival hosted in Grays Harbor County.

Comprised of Live Music events, workshops, lessons and so much more. 2020 was the year that was set to expand the festival from events in Hoquiam & Aberdeen only, to include all of Grays Harbor County.

The festival will be making some changes for current year events. As for many people right now, the future holds many questions on how "normal life" will resume, and when. For now, we are planning to move the festival online to accommodate the safety of our volunteers, musicians, venues and audiences.

More information and updates will come as we ride out the Coronavirus storm. We're in this together.

For future updates on the festival keep your eyes on www.OctoberMusicFestival.com .

Why October?

October First is International Music Day.

The IMD was initiated in 1975 by Lord Yehudi Menuhin to encourage:

the promotion of our musical art among all sections of society & the application of the UNESCO ideals of peace and friendship between peoples, of the evolution of their cultures, of the exchange of experience and of the mutual appreciation of their aesthetic values.

These ideals are at the very root of our Mission as the 98520 Music and Arts District Initiative/Grays Harbor Arts and thus we have extended this vision into a month long festival.
